The artist's portfolio in terms of colors, shapes, texture, size, as well as used material, medium and process is very interesting and captivating. I wouldn't have imagined it was a 3D canvas with resin on metal and objects integrated. The color palette is rather reduced in order to add to abstraction and increase the dramatic element. The shapes manifest how the figurative portraits stand out and the texture, even if not evident, is insinuating itself. The used materials and mediums stand out for the artist's process and the framing and composition carry out his subject themes.

Qual è la forza del portafoglio?

The strength of the portfolio is based on the work WORDS 004 (WORDS - Codici invisibili, 11/27/24). Christian Z is taking an old work we find in the modern masters' thematology and brings another dimension in it. I would have loved to know what his words are all about on this artwork. Do they have a meaning? Do they correlate with his model? Do they express her spirit and state of mind? There are many questions and the mystery is prevalent in this composition.

I see many possibilities of improvement in Christian Z's portfolio.

First of all, I believe that his works are rather dark, which would discourage many of Singulart's potential clients. Why? Because they need a specific lighting in the collectioner's houses to stand out. Not all houses are like that and he needs to have a balance between the darker and more illuminated artworks. Furthermore, in order for the text elements to enhance the message of his artworks, they need to be less unknown. Are there any words related to the works or just random letters? The text optimization would create meaning and add content to his artist's statement. Finally, I believe that female portraits are fine for some Singulart's clients but what about the others that would like something more neutral? It would be best to propose some variety and open his market potential this way.
