ETTORE PARMEGGIANI

It very often happens that, whenever they finish a painting, an artist feels an intense satisfaction through the creative act, beyond that which the piece has demanded in terms of time, preparation and trial and tribulations.

For Roberto Guglielmino this turns out to be only partly true, because the works he has produced are also a bit like steep steps that he climbs, onwards and upwards in the implementation of a communicative process in which the artist feels compelled to share with the world.

From time to time, Guglielmino’s paintings take on the appearance of messages, warnings, invocations, visions and feelings marked by compassion, where the latter is not limited to a simple piety, but must be understood according to the Latin etymology "cum patior" that is, to suffer together, living the same pain.

Nevertheless, in his works, it is evident that Guglielmino wants the observer to interpret at their own free will, through colour coded overtones, where you can recognize both the emotions and the moods of the painter.
