"Welcome to Venice" is part of the "Venezia - Feminine Mystique / Faces of Venice" series.

Executed in acrylic on wallpaper, the work merges the feminine portrait with the mystical profile of the lagoon city. The veiled face, the intense gaze and the red drippings symbolize the passion and fragility of Venice, while the silhouette of the Basilica emerges in the background.
