In this collage, I created a vibrant and multifaceted work that combines figurative and abstract elements to create a rich visual narrative.

The centerpiece is a woman's face with her eyes closed and a serene expression, suggesting tranquility and, in a way, introspection.

With natural elements like snails, orange slices, and colorful flowers, I added an organic and surrealist touch to the composition.

Abstract shapes, like white clouds and various paint splashes, create visual dynamism and contribute to the collage aesthetic.

Cutouts of text and numbers, from documents or printed matter, introduce an element of reality and a layer of personal and social meaning.

I created the work by layering and juxtaposing various materials and images to form a new, integrated composition.

What I like about this work is its eclectic style, blending realism with fantastical and abstract elements, resulting in an aesthetic that can be interpreted as surrealist or contemporary. The combination of natural and human elements, along with the peaceful feminine expression, can evoke themes of harmony, nature, dreams, or the complexity of the human experience, as well as dreams and memories of a bygone era.

The inclusion of fragments of text and numbers suggests a reflection on identity, bureaucracy, or even the way modern life intertwines with the personal and the organic.

The juxtaposition of seemingly disparate elements invites the viewer to create their own connections and meanings, a common characteristic of my collage works.
