Anett Kovats - pittrice contemporanea

My name is Anett and I am of Russian/Hungarian origin. I studied at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco and I currently live in Florence, Italy.

I am fascinated with the sensuality of the female form and I like to explore it through the contrast of light and shadow. A tilted head, a curved waist, a pair of long, crossed legs speak louder than a thousand words to me.

What I enjoy most about painting is seeing the little details come together and form an image as my work comes to life. That moment when a figure suddenly emerges from a chaos of shapes and brush strokes - that is why I paint. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I do.
