Chinciu Alina - pittrice contemporanea

I am Alina Chinciu, from Romania, the city of Iasi, having a PhD Textile Engineer by background.

At the Technical University of Iasi, Textile Product Engineering and Design department I was taught to develop my creativity, sensitivity, artistic and technical skills also.

 My love for colours and textures led me to start drawing abstract art, and as I used a variety of art materials, I became fascinated with the fusion of colours and began to pursue colour in my own way.

Each time I paint, I create my own unique colours and view of the world. I express what is deep inside me on canvas and hope the viewer can sense it. Currently, I am working on a variety of art (digital art, collage, portraits), mainly abstract paintings.

In my artworks, I sought to explore the theme of transformation and the interplay of colour and form allowing my emotions to guide the brush as an dance across the canvas.

For me the abstracted forms evoke the idea of metamorphosis, suggesting a journey from one state of being to another.

I hope the viewers are inspired to reflect on their own experiences of transformation, and to appreciate the variety of the colours that life offers even in its most chaotic moments.
