Curriculum
Broom Couture work operates at the intersection of cultural history and contemporary discourse. By meticulously reconstructing the broom with mixed media, symbolic materials (such as feathers, dried botanicals, and synthetic elements), and hidden ornaments, La Broom Couture elevates the object of domestic labor into a Scepter of Sovereign Wisdom. The art directly addresses the historical invisibility of women's work, the societal pressure of imposed beauty, and the powerful, suppressed legacy of female intellect and voice.
Broom Couture's core philosophy is anchored in Reclamation. Our pieces stand as amulets of self-determination, integrating the broom's ancient, esoteric role of safeguarding space with a contemporary feminist statement. Each piece encourages the viewer and collector to engage with profound themes of equality, resilience, and the powerful sovereignty inherent in the feminine identity.
The Broom Couture work has been recognized for its conceptual sharpness, with selections for exhibitions including the Spectrum Art Fair in Miami during Art Basel Week and PitturiAmo contest European Artis of the Year 2025.
