Artist Lady Hide was born in Sicily in 1985 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. She decided to spread her style and art worldwide, establishing herself as an artist and researcher in several countries such as London, Sebbha (Libya), and Casablanca (Morocco). She explores various disciplines such as painting, sculpture, writing, and design.

For the past 10 years, she has dedicated herself entirely to designing authentic welcome displays for luxury yachts.

Today, the designer divides her time between her atelier in Tuscany and her design and custom service offices in Florida.

Lady Hide is an authorial project operating at the intersection of art, design, and function within the world of high-end yachting, conceived to work alongside the client in a transversal way, regardless of whether the counterpart is the shipyard, management, or the crew. Its work begins with a careful listening to the real needs of use, maintenance, and life on board, and develops into a bespoke design process that brings aesthetics, engineering, and materials into dialogue, with the aim of transforming functional elements into coherent parts of the yacht’s identity. Each intervention is studied together with the engineers and technical teams involved in the project to identify the most suitable solution from a structural, regulatory, and operational standpoint, without ever imposing stylistic choices or complicating existing processes. Lady Hide does not propose standard objects, but solutions designed to integrate seamlessly into the yacht, enhancing the experience of both owner and crew, increasing perceived value, and ensuring long-term reliability, durability, and ease of management. Particular attention is given to those elements that mark the threshold between exterior and interior, between dock and yacht, between function and perception, such as welcome areas, beach areas, and transitional elements, where the quality of the project is immediately legible and directly contributes to the overall image of the vessel. The working method is based on collaboration and integration, with an approach that considers each yacht as a unique system and each client as an active participant in the creative process, grounded in the belief that true luxury does not lie in excess or ostentation, but in coherence, in the quality of design decisions, and in the ability to create solutions that function over time and speak an authentic and recognizable language.
