Rome, born in 1970. He lived and worked in Assisi, where he opened his first professional tattoo studio, approaching the craft with passion and seeing it as a true form of body art. Over time, his artistic journey expanded from skin to canvas and recycled surfaces, blending drawing with a deep exploration of colour and texture. His works often echo Abstract Expressionism and stand out for their use of unconventional materials such as sand, stones, rope, recycled plastics, and industrial fragments. These become “textured paintings” – bold, sculptural compositions that balance strength and sensitivity. Now based in Manchester, in the Stockport area, he runs his tattoo studio and has built a small creative factory next door, where he dedicates himself to painting and ongoing artistic experimentation.
