Antonino Buttafoco - contemporary painter

Antonino Buttafoco was born in the 1th April 1959 in Giuliana, a Norman’s origin town in province of Palermo, but He has lived in Castelfiorentino for years. He has been passionate about painting since the age of 12 when he begins to play with the watercolor technique. He approaches oil painting and at the same time He carries on his passion for music and sport (karate). Buttafoco's experience leads him to participate in some impromptu with reasonable satisfaction and in September 2013, participating in the first edition of the exhibition "Artisti Castellani Allo Scoperto" in Castelfiorentino. He comes in contact with other painters and sculptors of the area. From this event comes the cultural association GIGLIO d’ ARTE which Buttafoco is part as a councilor.
