Painting competition combined with the Agricultural Festival held in Taormina-Trappitello regarding painting, craft and agriculture exhibitions related to the territory of the Alcantara valley. 1st prize awarded with motivation: The jury also rewards, assigning first place, the work "13 arches" by Larysa Riaboshlyk, with the following motivation: The work "13 arches" depicting the railway viaduct that characterizes the Alcantara valley crossing it, fully focuses on the theme of the competition. The landscape described in great detail with the rich vegetation of a countryside with characteristic terraces, presents a scenario in which an architectural element bursts in, which contrasts with the surrounding nature and imposes itself on attention for the wise perspective and the rhythmic fluidity of its arches, becoming the accurate subject of the painting.
