Calidé - contemporary paintress

Debora Calicchia was born in Rome. She graduated at the Academy of Illustration and Visual Communication of Rome and began his artistic career as an illustrator of books for Children. Her inclination and talent led her to the Painting which welcome her creativity. She participated in many exhibition In Rome, expecially with the historycal Art Society “Cento Pittori Via Margutta”.

She is inspired by sources, which are essential to her and which stem in the Impressionist Current. Entities that best represent her Poetics are the Female Figures, graceful, dreamy, wrapped in a veil of melancholy, and the kids who come to life and reveal themeselves, through her painting, with the innocence that characterize them.

Actually she lives and works in Mijas Costa, near Malaga, Spain.
