ART BOOK: LIGHTS AND SHADOWS

Criticism:
"Cinzia Quadri's works have the distinctive sign of a well-consolidated artistic experience. Observing her path, the reasons for a completely personal inspiration are evident, made up of emotions poetically filtered by sign and colour.
The artist experiments with different techniques and materials, from airbrush painting to ink drawing on paper. He also works with iron, steel, majolica, maintaining his particular stylistic signature with a strong emotional impact.
She wanted to give a suggestive definition to her style, Hindsight art, something like Hindsight, to underline how the method of her elaborations is not at all random, but rather the fruit of a creative restlessness that leads her to always seek new expressive paths .
In his compositional choices, very articulated and abstractly lyrical textures of signs prevail, among which female faces with elegant features are often inserted, mysteriously suspended in the tangles of cryptic writing, which perhaps reveals thoughts, perhaps desires, perhaps flashes of repressed memories.
Then when the color presents itself, there is a sort of liquid upheaval, which follows the dynamic progression of the dense and intense signs-signals.
A good example of this is "Rose", a small-sized majolica, where the sound vibrations of the graphic and coloristic system are played on two superimposed planes, in a spatial game that seems ready to project itself into the three-dimensionality of the sculpture.
In a visual narration which bears the title of "I am...", the preciousness of the sign typical of the author is found: with ink on paper, clear contrasts appear both between black and white, and between abstraction and the fleeting apparition of a face, which emerges from an elsewhere full of references that are difficult to decipher"
