ANUNNAKIRISM THE ORIGINAL CODE

ANUNNAKIRISM THE ORIGINAL CODE

Within the contemporary art scene, which is often increasingly fragmented between artistic languages, conceptual experimentation and a return to figurative art, a movement is emerging that stands out for its ability to blend archaic symbolism with a futuristic vision: Anunnakirism. It is not merely an artistic style, but a genuine cosmological vision translated into visual form, a language that aims to awaken in the observer an ancestral memory, often dormant.

Anunnakirism is rooted in an imagery that evokes the ancient Mesopotamian civilisations, often visited by ‘Beings’ from other corners of the Universe, reworking them in a contemporary key. However, it is not a mere historical reference: rather, it is a symbolic reinterpretation that transforms the ‘Anunnaki’, mythological and archetypal figures, into vectors and vectors of knowledge, energy and inner transformation. The work thus becomes a portal, a visual code capable of communicating with the deepest levels of the psyche.

One of the defining features of this movement is the centrality of the symbol. Anunnakirist compositions are not limited to aesthetic representation, but construct veritable systems of signs: sacred geometries, hybrid anthropomorphic figures, magnified eyes, bodies that dissolve and reform in a dance between matter and spirit. Every element is laden with meaning and contributes to creating a ‘Visual Energy Field’ that invites active contemplation.

The Female Figure assumes a central role in Anunnakirism. She is not represented as a mere subject, but as a generative principle, a universal matrix and a creative force. The female deities, often depicted with voluptuous forms and accentuated features, embody a primordial sacredness, far removed from contemporary stereotypes and instead close to an archetypal, almost ritualistic dimension. They are not merely images, but symbolic presences that evoke fertility, knowledge and cosmic power.

From a technical perspective, Anunnakirism straddles the line between traditional painting and chromatic experimentation. The colours are intense, saturated and often contrasting, with a preference for shades that evoke natural elements such as earth, fire and sky, reinterpreted in an almost alien manner. The textures can be layered, creating depth and vibrancy, whilst the lines tend to warp, breaking away from classical perspective, generating an unstable and dynamic perception.

But what makes Anunnakirism a unique movement is its philosophical dimension. ‘Art’ is not an end in itself, but becomes an ‘Instrument of Existential Inquiry’. Every work is an invitation to question one’s own origins, the nature of reality and the relationship between the human and the divine. In this sense, the artist is not merely a creator, but also a mediator between dimensions, a translator of a language that belongs to a broader sphere of consciousness.

In an age dominated by speed and visual superficiality, Anunnakirism offers a pause, a return to depth. Its works are not consumed in a fleeting glance, but require time, attention and a willingness to listen. They are images that speak, but not immediately: they whisper, suggest and evoke.

Anunnakirism, therefore, is a genuine artistic and cultural movement situated at the intersection of art, spirituality and inner exploration. Within it, the past and the future converge, giving rise to a present rich in meaning in which the image returns to being what it has always been: an extraordinary bridge between the visible and the invisible.
