The artists find, in the characteristics of the landscape in which they spent their childhood, the matrices and the coordinates of their inspiration and creativity; in particular when these bring back to those emotions, to those dreams and to those spring feelings, which have forged their sensitivity and expressive capacity.
It is those states of mind, those intense fantasies and those profound affections that bring back to the dreams and expectations of that golden age that was childhood, even if real events or family events seem to have blurred and confined it in the part. intimate memory. In that core of the soul the echo of that sweet music remains alive, like the memory of a lost paradise.
In the creative world of Grazia Badari and in the inspiration that enrich it, there are two main reasons: the proximity of the Po and its innate talent for drawing. The great river flowed near the home in Luzzara and, long ago, near his house built in Sailetto.
The Po characterizes not only the landscapes that surround it, more or less far from its high banks that accompany its course as cyclopean works, but with its woods and other lands in the vast floodplains, which flank its course between sand banks , reeds and thick forests. Its riverbed is a great natural vein, a groove full of events and historical transits; moreover, in its waters the firmament is reflected and in a symbolic sense the meanings of the seasonal cycles and the movements of the cosmic mechanisms.
For an artist, the great river proposes inspiring motifs in every moment, both in the composition of backgrounds and in the definition of shades inspired by its tonal and material atmospheres: in the informal brightness of its dawns or in the evocative timbres of the reds at sunset, which are added the intense tones of the reeds and the woods, among which the waters flow like the image of perennial life.
