Mario Caporale - Maestro contemporaneo - Artisti emergenti
Aerospace engineer, now retired for 3 years, self-taught painter for 60 years, but with a small production of works that has been increasing in the last 3 years.
He participated in only one public exhibition managed by the district in which he lived for Christmas in Rome, in 1970, and won the 2nd prize.
Always passionate about Van Gogh's paintings, he studied art history in high school, appreciating pictorial art more and more. Attracted from the beginning by impressionism, he then experimented and continues to experiment with paintings of the expressionist currents and subsequently attracted by hyperrealism and minimalism.
He loves precision painting both in landscapes and in still lifes and portraits. For years he has used oil paint and both ink and graphite drawing, to switch to acrylic colors in recent years, while maintaining the pleasure of pencil drawing, both black and white and in color.
My profession as an aerospace engineer did not allow me to participate actively in exhibitions and shows. Now that I'm retired, and have more time on my hands, I'm working to do solo exhibitions.
In this web address there is a site dedicated to my works as a boy nowadays:
