Critical Note

The works by the artist Salvo Distefano: The artist's palette is influenced of his land: Sicily, warm colors, bright, sharp, Mediterranean ... Distefano likes to test himself and uses different painting techniques (palette knife, brushes, pencils, inks), the favorite subjects are horses (his passion) but there are landscapes and seascapes. His style can be seen as a Impressionism in a modern way and in every painting you can pick a different state of mind given by touch and by the range of colors used.
