Sars-Cov 2 came into our lives suddenly, forcefully, and forced us to radically change our lifestyles. We have faced isolation to protect health in recent months. This led to the emergence of conflicting emotions like anxiety, fear and uncertainty. 

The work "A Gift from Sars-Cov 2” is performed with oil technique and it is structured in size like the ancient wooden votive tablets, according to the millenary custom of “ex voto”. I intend to communicate the gift of love from the Virgin and the Sacred Heart that emerges immense from the abyss of weakness of covid disease by the strenuous distress of the healthcare personnel. In the most difficult moment love manifests itself in all its strength towards the patient. Pain and breathlessness disappear because what is received as a gift, is infinitely greater and finally the patient can reach out her hands with invigorated energy.
