Description

One of the works from the early years of my artistic research, when Rome and its monuments were at the heart of my painting. The Colosseum is depicted through a predominantly figurative language, focusing on the recognizability of the monument, light and depth.

The work belongs to the initial phase of my artistic journey, before the later evolution towards a freer and more imaginative pictorial language.
