Description

"Birth of Power: Colors of Resistance" is an expression of my journey and commitment to breaking a taboo through art.

It is a copy of my own plaster cast of my pregnant belly, transformed into a colorful sculpture inspired by the vibrant works of Nikki de Saint Phalle.

With this work, I took the decisive step of creating a memorial for survivors of sexual abuse and giving voice to a new, much-needed perspective.

The chosen colors and forms embody resistance, hope, and the strength to rise from darkness.

Through this artwork, I began to actively advocate for all those seeking a new beginning due to similar hardships as Nikki.

It is more than just art; it is a symbolic act of solidarity and empowerment.
