The Guardians of the Moons: This painting is a celebration of the night and the moon, captured in an almost magical atmosphere. The Guardians of the Moons depicts a pair of milky owls resting on a dry tree branch, immersed in an enchanting night sky.

In the collective imagination, nocturnal owls are often shrouded in magic and mystery. In this work, I conceived them as the true guardians of the moons. Two moons adorn the painting: one waning and one red and distant, which together create a fascinating and mysterious contrast.

The branch on which the owls perch symbolically leads to the night sky, amplifying the idea that these animals are the guardians of a lunar kingdom.
