The Scream and the Silence

Description
The Scream and the Silence is an acrylic painting on canvas (50x70 cm) exploring the inner duality of the human being. Two bald, naked figures emerge from a single body, like two souls forced to coexist: one opens its mouth in a silent scream of shock or anguish, while the other watches quietly, distant and almost resigned. The brushwork is instinctive and textured, and the red marks across the skin evoke wounds, exposed emotions and fragility. The vivid turquoise sky and the dark field speckled with red and green create a striking colour contrast that heightens the tension of the scene. An expressionist work that invites us to question the voices living inside each of us: the one that screams and the one that stays silent.
