Many masks, few faces
Description
You will learn at your expense that in the long journey of life you will meet many masks and few faces.
(Louis Pirandello)
In everyday reality, individuals never show themselves for who they are, but take on a mask that makes them characters. A thousand masks worn every day for convenience, habit, social convention, sometimes even for opportunism. We are all constantly fragmented into masks that hide our "true selves". Many times it is not us who hide behind a mask but it is the others who shape an identity that is foreign to us. Man is a being who wanders among the masks of himself in search of a better image of himself. Wearing a mask is the most normal thing in the world, even though we often don't realize it. We are never the same person and each person around us experiences a different facet of our personality.
