9th of November's Snow
Description
The eye as a way, the eye as a mirror, the eye as the projection of the world. The protagonist of this "Snow of the Ninth January" work is just an eye, deliberately left in abstract form, like interrogating those who look at the emotions she is trying to look at. The subject's choice is the result of the emotions tried by the authors on a morning, namely, on the 9th of January, when the fresh snow of the evening before was still clearly visible. From this inspiration two twin and speculative works were born: Snow of the Ninth January and Morning Lights, both with an eye as the main subject. In this work the colors chosen are colors associated with peace and tranquility: blue, blue, green and pink. Despite the circular brush strokes to create some dynamism in the picture, the ultimate feeling that remains is quiet. The eye, which occupies the center of the canvas, is the symbol of creativity and freedom; a thought-free glance that merely overlooks the snow surrounding him.
