Stardust (guide)
Description
"Second to the right, and then straight on till morning", J.M. Barrie - Peter Pan
It is difficult to capture the magic of this canvas, a bit like when you try to photograph the moon or the sky at night: it is impossible to convey the sensations you feel when you see it in real life...
Yet here it is and, Stardust (guide) really contains "stardust"... Depending on how they meet the light, the glitters in the painting sparkle, just like the stars in our beloved sky on the darkest nights.
This work has a powerful and delicate energy, a maternal sweetness and the purity of diamond. I think I will make others of this kind, because it calls me a lot, it speaks to me, of a place where it is good to remember to go, every now and then. The place where dreams are born, J.M. Barrie would say, the place where you can breathe and expand. Like when we gaze at a starry sky in the summer.
The way to go is simple: second to the right, and then straight on till morning. While I was painting it, I went there. It wasn't easy at first but then I realized that all I needed was faith, trust and little fairy dust.
