An original piece from the series “Sewing eyes”, oil, pencil and cotton thread on paper, 21 x 15 cm, 2015.

The eye is for me the most precious and fragile part of the human body. In a process of associations, I add an element of danger to this image (the thread sewn onto the sheet, which should recall the prick of a pin). But the associations then proceed on their own, and unexpectedly, I end up representing the path of the gaze and the "thread of thoughts" that that gaze could reveal.
