The work “Presence” explores memory as a state that exists beyond specific events and images. Memory here appears as a feeling that is preserved in form, body, and inner balance.

The composition of the painting is built on symmetry, which symbolizes the search for stability and inner balance. At the same time, there are shifts and disturbances in the symmetry, which remind us that memory is never completely stable. It changes with the wearer.

Bright colors emerging from the dark background work as flashes of memories. Some of them are light and warm, others are painful and heavy. The drops in the image are perceived as traces of sad experiences that remain even after the emotion disappears.

The project speaks of the presence of memories in form, of the balance between light and darkness, between what one wants to preserve and what cannot be changed
