The two Fridas
Description
"The colored and loved Frida does not look at the pained Frida, flattened in colors and bleeding.
Often, pain becomes a barrier that wears out and does not allow for internal integration or sharing with the outside world. But the affliction that every separation entails is an inevitable and unavoidable part of the human experience. And it concerns as much the relationship with the other as that with oneself."
One of my favorite Frida's paintings.
