Thun (Stochorn)

YEAR 1984 - From my time in Switzerland, I dedicated two oil paintings to commemorate a period that, for better or worse, shaped my life. The painting is titled "Thun," after the lakeside town that hosted me. I actually lived in Spiez, a hamlet of Thun, and the view in the painting is a glimpse stolen from one of my windows. Beyond the mountain, it's interesting to note the working-class and peasant dwellings of that hamlet. A conceptually different situation from the Italian one from which I came.
