Description

I found the inspiration for this painting in the story "The Little Mermaid", written by Andersen.

Mermaids and adventures in the deep blue sea have long enticed and intrigued me.

Unlike the original story, my mermaids don't want to live outside the sea. They only bring gifts to the people on the seashore and then return to the depths of the sea.

I used high quality oil paints and Premium stretched Italian canvas.
