​An animal symbolic of labor, perseverance, and the ability to build one's own future, the beaver becomes a metaphor for a human condition suspended between the drive toward tomorrow and the constant risk of being pushed back.

​The upper surface does not represent simple matter, but a liquidity that progressively thickens into a crust. What should be fluid, accessible, and vital hardens, separating the figure from that promise of security that remains visible, yet unattainable.

​The gold surfaces like the remnant of a perceived wealth, never fully captured, while the material textures function as a barrier that both holds back and offers a glimpse of what it holds within.

​The contrast between the realism of the animal and the tactile environment pulls the image away from naturalistic storytelling, transforming it into a symbolic and perceptive space.
