Description

Astronomy meets the Myth: Callisto, was a nymph that was transformed into a bear by Artemis because she had broken the vow of chastity by giving birth to a son of Jupiter. Her son was about to kill her during a hunt, but Jupiter saved her by turning her into a constellation, that of the Great Bear. Callisto was also called one of the moons of the planet Jupiter.
