The painting is the thirteenth in a cycle dedicated to the Apostles of Jesus Christ and integrates a complete "apostolate". It concerns 12 paintings all having the same size 50x43cm (19,7 x16,9 inch) which reproduce the 12 apostles of Jesus. The object is original as it is a "live" portrait model.
