LOVE - my First Painting

The painting LOVE, was produced using a mixed media technique, painted on a polystyrene washable background. 

The painting uses bright colours and bold strokes to explore the dynamic nature of love. The deep red background represents the passion and vital energy that love brings into our lives. The black hearts, drawn with broken and irregular lines, symbolise the imperfections and challenges of every relationship, showing that love is a journey of ups and downs.

The golden strokes across the painting, forming a central triangle, represent the purity and value of true love, which shines through difficulties. The gold suggests that despite complications and imperfections, love is priceless and uniquely beautiful.

The word ‘LOVE’ written at the bottom seems to be embedded between the lines, indicating that love underlies all human emotions and experiences depicted in the painting. This painting invites the viewer to recognise that love, although complex and sometimes painful, is a force that unites and gives meaning to our lives.
