Nuns in Burma: oil painting on canvas. The little girls spend some time (of their own choosing) in a monastery. The nuns and girls collect alms of rice two to three times a week. Their clothing is saffron and pink. They wear straw hats to protect themselves from the sun, or folded cloth covers their heads. Flip-flops are the norm.
