Biography

Alessio Bandini was born and works in Florence.

He has always had a true passion for art, expressed in different forms, particularly painting and cinema.

Self-taught painter and drawer, he started expressing his creativity from an early age with portraits and sketches by pencils and charcoal. In the early nineties he began to explore "en plain air" painting by oil perspectives of Tuscany countryside.

He trained at the Rossotiziano School of Art, held by the Master Tiziano Bonanni, where he conducted a thorough research on techniques and materials, by studying drawing and using different tools, from charcoal to Bic pen, oil, tempera, "mezzotint", experimented on various materials: paper, canvas, wood.

The central theme of his work is the human figure, analyzed and viewed from unusual angles, expressed in nude who indulge in waves that can accommodate and rest the body and mind, or fallen angels, suspended between a Sky that condemns them and an Earth that does not want them.
