Boba - contemporary paintress
Welcome to My Creative World
I grew up in a house surrounded by a garden, where my passion for observing and drawing the intricate details of plants and animals first took root. This early fascination with nature's subtleties has deeply influenced my creative journey. Today, my artistic process is a search for order within chaos — a quest to uncover hidden principles and patterns that bring harmony to the unpredictable.
I’ve always been captivated by the foundations of architecture: the symmetry of facades, the repetition of motifs, the logic behind technical drawings, and the structure of churches and monumental buildings. Mathematical concepts like fractals and the Fibonacci sequence are ever-present inspirations. These patterns transcend cultures, disciplines, and time, often guiding us unconsciously. They are universal, yet deeply personal.
My creative process reflects my inner world and life journey. It is a practice of observing systems and uncovering the rhythm within apparent disarray. I search for repetitions that evoke balance and symmetry — not only in material form but also on a personal, emotional level. Each piece I create represents an exploration of boundaries: the boundaries of material possibilities and the boundaries of self.
Ceramics as Alchemy
To me, ceramics is a form of alchemy — a transformative process where the fusion of elemental forces results in something entirely unexpected. The journey from raw material to finished form mirrors my own growth and self-discovery. Each creation embodies my beliefs, passions, and essence.
My work is not just about creating objects; it is a form of self-reflection. It is an ongoing pursuit of balance between opposites, a dialogue between control and spontaneity, precision and fluidity, jina and jan, a man and woman, a night and day, etc. This pursuit has shown me that the act of creation is inherently therapeutic. It is a process of healing, growth, and self-realization.
Through every curve, line, texture, and surface, I aim to invite you into this world of discovery, balance, and quiet wonder. Welcome to a space where chaos finds form, and creation becomes reflection.
