CV

Danijela Jović is an established visual artist based in Belgrade, Serbia. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2016, majoring in Painting. Actively engaged in the fine arts for over two decades, she has exhibited her work extensively in both solo and group exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the USA since 1999. Avoiding rigid adherence to specific artistic movements or historical role models, Jović’s practice dynamically balances on the threshold between abstract and figurative expression, often diving into pure abstraction. She is an esteemed member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) and the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDS).
