Biography

Painter Eymard draws his inspiration from a life path as diverse as it is captivating, evoking a unique fusion of cultural influences through his work.
Eymard grew up in Kyoto, Japan, in the heart of a land steeped in tradition and cultural richness. These 13 years in Japan forged his identity, imbuing his art with indelible childhood memories and deep convictions. During this period, annual vacations to the United States, in Los Angeles, at the home of a friend of his father, broadened his horizons and opened doors to the world, sowing the seeds of a boundless curiosity. In 2007, Eymard flew to Côte d'Ivoire, where he spent his teenage years until 2017. These years were marked by a deep immersion in Ivorian culture, adding a vibrant palette to his artistic repertoire. The influences of sub-Saharan Africa have permeated his work, creating a bridge between continents.
In 2017, Eymard settled in France, adding a new dimension to his multicultural experience. Having lived on four continents, his art becomes a visual testimony to this globalization, reflecting an exceptional open-mindedness.
As a contemporary artist, Eymard explores a blend of African, Japanese, abstract, subliminal and landscape art, using mixed media, including acrylic paints, acrylic pours and acrylic sprays, to create dynamic, expressive compositions.
