Lolita Donatella Coli was born in Ortonovo (SP) and graduated from the Liceo Artistico di Carrara in 1973. She later attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara and specialised in Scenography. Since 2002 she has approached the engraving and graduated with full marks, with a dissertation entitled "Inextricable Labyrinths - G.B. Piranesi and its powerful buildings" in which she has managed to highlight, in an absolutely innovative way, the dark and scenographic side of this wonderful artist. The love for nature led her to pursue visual research on the world around herself, defining the "Magic Realism" with her style.
