Noui - contemporary painter

Artist started in 2016 with colorfully pop art collection on kraft paper referring to culture of gaming, cartoons, and trends.

In 2019, I started a minimalism trip around Europe, in bicycle, leaving my comfortable life behind to live an experience unique. On my way I could paint 13 paintings on organic farm walls around 8 different countries, representing at most an alternative world with Alice in Wonderland as main character.

It is in the idea to connect the paintings with the other side of the mirror of Alice. The side where respect of animals, joy, artisanat, humanity fully exists.

On my way to Tromsø, I discover the strong culture of Norway, and their legendary stories that most of child hear. I started to draw those stories on my way in A5 format as I couldnt carry any bigger format on my bicycle.

In 2023, I finally settle down, then decided in 2024 to make my drawing bigger and in a more advanced way. Still respecting the minimalism that is for me a low consuming energy production good for co-living with our environment.

Partly made with a charcoal that i made myself, i plan also to make my own paper in the idea to recycle.
