Sido Art
My name is Silvia Donati, I was born in Rome on August 4, 1977, and since I was a child I have developed a great passion for drawing. After completing my compulsory studies, I enrolled at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Tivoli, metal and goldsmith branch, which I completed, graduating with honors. Subsequently I decided to enroll in the Italian Institute of Crafts and Restoration to acquire the qualification of restorer of paintings. Here I learned new pictorial techniques such as egg painting and fresco, one of the most beautiful pictorial techniques for me. Following life's commitments (marriage, children, work) I had an artistic blackout that lasted years, a period in which I couldn't find a "reason" to create. The pandemic has helped me get out of my creative block and rekindle that fire in me that makes me feel alive. I realized that you don't need a reason to do what makes us feel good. We do it precisely because it makes us happy.

- in 1996 high school diploma at the Italian Institute of Art in Tivoli (Rm);
- in 1999 certificate of professional qualification as a restorer of paintings on canvas, on wood and frescoes, at the Istituto Artigianato Italiano Arte e Restauro in Rome;
- on 16 - 17 - 18 September 2022 Extemporaneous at the village of Roiate. I participated by reproducing a glimpse of the country. The produced painting was exhibited until the end of the festival and then sold.
- from 8 to 30 October 2022 collective exhibition in Arona (Lake Maggiore);
- from 20 to 27 November I participated in the 7th Exhibition of Visual Arts with the Giarte Cultural Association, at the Orsini Castle in Fiano Romano.
- from 17 to 31 December Collective Art Exhibition at the Purificato.Zero Gallery in Rome, participating in the Italian Artist Award 2022 with my drawing NATURA, I received a "Special Mention".
- on 17 - 18 - 19 - 20 January 2023 I participated in the Open Art Prize 2023 XX edition, at the Angelica Library in Rome.
- from 1 to 4 June 2023 I participated in Etna Comics in Catania.
