Treviteo - contemporary painter

Born in Milan on April 8th, 1971. After completing his studies, he had the opportunity to experience various professional and personal ventures that allowed him to travel the world and engage with different cultures, styles, and traditions.

Self-taught artistically since 1996, he introduced the first characters into his paintings in 2003, when he was inspired to personally represent the songs of poet and singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André.

In the ever-evolving series, Matteo approaches each work with the ambition of conveying to the viewer at least a part of the emotions, feelings, and memories these paintings evoke in him. The characters and settings, sometimes contemporary and sometimes abstract, are never intended to represent the true meaning that Fabrizio gave to his wonderful lyrics, but rather what those lyrics suggest to him.

Other types of works followed and accompanied those related to Fabrizio De André, keeping alive the curiosity intended to encourage the viewer to search for details or intriguing peculiarities.
