YEAR 2023 - This work, like many others, embodies many of the themes dear to me. Painting has never been a planned project, but first and foremost an emotion. Happiness overtakes me when something surprising slowly emerges on the surface. Something of mine that will no longer be mine alone. From a basic pretext, one thing calls upon another and evolves. And moment by moment, I write a story that I don't know how it will unfold. On paper, I work with lines on which to give form to my tale. A tale of color, matter, light. Empty and full spaces for a time of before and after. Real spaces that offer glimpses of a possible other.
