APHRODITE 130X97
Aphrodite is, in Greek mythology, the goddess of beauty and love. Her Roman equivalent is Venus. Although she is often referred to in modern culture as "the goddess of love", it is important to note that in ancient times she did not refer to love in the romantic sense but in the erotic sense. Although in mythology she was married to Hephaestus, she had other lovers, with Ares being her favourite. Together with her brothers, she occupied a place in the pantheon among the twelve Olympian gods. This goddess, like the others, came from the fourth dimension.
