Darkness

The artwork, inspired by the Baltic Sea, is composed of flat stones collected from the shoreline, capturing the natural beauty of the coast. The stones are carefully arranged on a canvas, forming a mosaic-like pattern made from the treasures brought by the sea. The entire composition is coated in matte black paint, giving the piece a dark, minimalist aesthetic. However, some of the stones stand out, as their surfaces are covered in a glossy lacquer. This contrast between the matte paint and the glossy finish creates subtle reflections of light, reminiscent of wet pebbles on the shore, adding vibrancy and uniqueness to the artwork.
