Himnusz (Hymn), holds a central place in my body of work. It is the official Hungarian National Anthem painting, succeeding the poem by Ferenc Kölcsey and the music by Ferenc Erkel. It was the first contemporary painting exhibited in the Hungarian Parliament, where it remained on display for years. The composition reflects the structure of the poem while offering a contemplative, abstract interpretation of national identity, memory, and responsibility.
