Nirvana Street
Description
In this collection, the ancient iconography of the Buddha becomes an archetype, which is repeated from work to work always with the same visual system, but each time contextualized in a new guise, with contemporary urban materials and references.
The material base of the work is made with asphalt.
They are also applied on the surface of the details, like the "third eye" that wants to simulate a chewin gum, and details in the background such as garbage, recreated with real cigarettes and cans.
The work is made on a rigid panel prepared by the artist, ready to be hung.
