Seaside near Posada

Description

The warm colours of Sardinia give life to a gentle landscape of that land. A delicate, poetic gaze reveals an iconic old village in the background, Posada, and a group of ancient buildings in the centre. Everything is intimately related, traces of the passage of man and his experience, the flavour of the earth warmed by the sun, the intense blues of the sea and a delicate sky to frame it. 

Silence takes centre stage. A "full" silence, rich in nuances, not at all empty. A silence that invites to contemplation, to sweet idleness among the colours of the canvas as in a fragment of siesta on a hot early summer afternoon.
