Territori
by Delab
Description
Also this picture has anthropized nature as its subject. The painting develops on two superimposed floors. Nature, represented with patches of bright colors that evoke the fields, meadows and pools of water of our territory, is placed in the background. Here the chromatic richness of the natural world transformed by man is idealized within geometric shapes. Like a second layer, an intricate mesh is superimposed on this plane, which can at the same time suggest the network of a medieval urban fabric, but can at the same time evoke a rift in the ground, the materiality of the earth. Human tracing and natural sign are confused.
